About The Job

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide dedicated support to individuals in a residential care setting. You will assist in fostering a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment, enabling residents to live as independently as possible. Your role will include:

• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care for residents
• Assisting residents with daily activities, promoting independence and choice
• Supporting individuals with personal care needs, ensuring their well-being and dignity
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans
• Engaging with residents in meaningful activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the residential home

About You

St Piers sits in the Education Directorate of Young Epilepsy, the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and/or associated conditions. We are a non-maintained residential special school for 5–25-year-olds, and we are an innovative and creative School and College for students with SEND, and a large percentage of our cohort have Epilepsy, autism, and severe learning difficulties, along with communication difficulties.
